CHARLOTTE — Some Charlotte churches are adjusting their Christmas Eve services this evening.

Myers Park United Methodist Church has announced it will be holding multiple services to accommodate as many people as they can.

In the video at the top of the page, Pastor James Howell explains how the church plans to avoid overpacking the sanctuary.

“We’re going to encourage as much distancing as possible. We’re not going to be as crowded as other years where we’re packed with 5 or 6,000 people. We’re gonna be down from that.”

Myers Park United Methodist Church will have services at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. tonight. For those who cannot attend one of the services in person, you can watch virtually here.
