CHARLOTTE, N.C. — With restrictions lifting across the Carolinas, more people are going out.
While one would think that would be helpful for so many local businesses, they’re actually running into a big problem. Many are trying to fill jobs lost during the pandemic but can’t.

“I think you could talk with any company that is hiring right now and it’s harder now than pre-pandemic,” said Beth Vawter, who is manages operations at Rely Workforce Group, an employment agency.
