CORNELIUS, N.C. — A Cornelius mansion on the shores of Lake Norman made famous for its appearance in “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby” recently hit the market with a price tag of nearly $10 million.
That home in the exclusive, gated community of Connor Quay came on the market Feb. 24 priced at $9.9 million. That’s five years after it sold for $4 million in February 2018.
The waterfront mansion, which spans 12,000-plus square feet, underwent a complete renovation since the 2018 sale, or, as the listing states, the home was “renovated from driveway to the docks.”
