CHARLOTTE — Atrium Health’s Levine Children’s Plaza has grown again.
This expansion is part of the hospital’s continuing effort to put all outpatient care under one roof.
The new fourth floor is expected to be up and running by Monday. The new floor features neurology, urology, psychology, and surgery care.
Atrium Health’s Callie Dobbins told Channel 9 the expansion will allow parents to relax knowing their children can get the same level of care without having to leave the Queen City.
“All of the subspecialty care needed for children will be here,” Dobbins said. “That gives families peace of mind and access and accessibility, and also knowing they won’t have to leave Charlotte.”
This is the second floor to be opened at Levine Children’s Plaza; the next phase is expected to be unveiled next summer.
