Letter to PSL owners reveals increased ticket prices, new 'bubble' practice facility

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Carolina Panthers are already preparing their fans for next season and said they can expect three big changes: increased ticket prices, new digital tickets, and a new practice facility.

All PSL owners received a letter this week which highlights each of those changes, especially the new practice facility.

New team owner David Tepper plans to build a temporary practice "bubble" for the upcoming pre-season. It will be a climate-controlled environment and will help ensure the team practices as much as possible, no matter the weather.

The letter also notes that the bubble is a temporary option and that the team will eventually build a new practice facility and campus.

The letter also informs PSL owners that some ticket prices will increase next season, thanks to demand and ongoing investments.

PSL owners will also receive digital tickets next season in an effort to stop fake ticket sales.

The Panthers will also add solar panels to Bank of America Stadium.

Mooresville-based Powerhome Solar will install the panels in the coming weeks. The panels will help lessen the stadium's carbon footprint and energy costs.
