Lancaster Police say that they were notified of a missing child Friday morning around 9 a.m. The caregiver of the child told police the biological mother, 35-year-old Cherrica Nichole “Nikki” Meredith, made her way into the home and took 3-year-old Zoya Meredith.

Lancaster police worked with other law enforcement agencies and located the child in Fairfax, Virginia and she was reunited with her caregiver.
