Lakefront home tops Statesville market with $3.15M price tag

STATESVILLE, N.C. — A lakefront home with sweeping views just hit the market at $3.15 million, making it the most expensive residential listing with a Statesville address.

The Iredell County estate is in the exclusive, gated community of Windemere Island, a small enclave of homes fronting Lake Norman. That island is accessed by a bridge.

The 6,143-square-foot home at 101 Island Ridge Drive became an active listing on April 10. Built in 2001, the design was inspired by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, according to its listing details.

The home is listed by Tracy Davis with Ivester Jackson | Christie’s International Real Estate. Lori Ivester Jackson of the same firm is the co-list broker.

There are four bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms, with finishes including cherry wood doors, Tennessee fieldstone accents, custom cabinets and extensive millwork. Two primary suites have remodeled bathrooms.

The home also includes an elevator and a lake-level entertainment area with a kitchenette.
