CHARLOTTE — An opening act at Luke Combs’ concert on Saturday had to think quickly on her feet after the weather stole the show.
Fans continued to flock to Bank of America Stadium for Combs’ second show while storms and heavy rain poured over the Queen City.

Before Combs’ came onto the stage, one of his openers, Lainey Wilson, had to perform acoustic only after a possible lightning strike damaged her sound equipment. Wilson came out, apologized for the technical difficulties, and performed with just one band member.
Concertgoer Jackie Longo sent in a video of Wilson’s performance to Channel 9, praising her for a strong performance.
