CHARLOTTE — The lack of rain recently across North Carolina could be causing lower lake levels, and there may be no relief in sight.
Severe Weather Center 9 Meteorologist John Ahrens visited Lake Norman on Tuesday to take a look at the water level, which has dipped slightly in the past three months.
The Charlotte area has seen one of the dryest falls on record this year, but Lake Norman’s water level has stayed around 94 feet.
