CHARLOTTE — Krispy Kreme’s new South End shop will deliver an expanded menu of innovative sweet treats when it debuts on Tuesday.

That 4,655-square-foot shop is located at 2116 Hawkins St., near the brand’s Global Product & Innovation Center. It is the first of its kind to offer an adjacent Insomnia Cookies shop.

“Being home to our Global Product & Innovation Center, Charlotte is near and dear to our hearts, so we’re treating our neighbors to special experiences they won’t find at any other Krispy Kreme location,” says Rhianna Simard, district manager.

Expect that location to deliver a number of Original Glazed Doughnut-inspired products — and Krispy Kreme’s first-ever Doughnut Vending Machine that will serve three-packs of fresh doughnuts 24 hours a day — while supplies last.
