CHARLOTTE — A Korean fried chicken franchise will open its first Charlotte location next week — and more restaurants are likely.
bb.q Chicken’s first location will be in the Arborteum, at 8206 Providence Road. That 1,300-square-foot restaurant is set to open Dec. 6.
Franchisee June Lee is behind that fast-casual venture.
Charlotte’s booming real estate and economic growth, combined with an influx of young adults, made it attractive for expansion, says Andrew Lee, strategy and marketing manager for BBDOTQ USA.
