KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — Investigators are searching for two suspects they said robbed a Kannapolis convenience store employee at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.
The robbery happened at 1 a.m. at a Circle K on Davidson Highway.
Police said one person robbed the cashier while the other acted as a lookout and then drove off.
Officers are looking for a dark-colored SUV with peeling paint.
Investigators are also looking into the possibility that the robbery may be connected to another overnight case in Huntersville.
