KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — The Kannapolis Intimidators played their last home game Thursday night at the current stadium.
The minor league team will move from the current stadium after 25 years to a new stadium in downtown Kannapolis.
The new ballpark is part of a revitalization effort called VIDA in downtown Kannapolis.
There will also be restaurants, a brewery, apartments and a hotel.
The Intimidators beat the Hagerstown Suns 5-4
