Kannapolis Farmers Market to open next week, city says

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — Spring has sprung, and soon so will the Kannapolis farmer’s market.

According to a release from the city of Kannapolis, the market will officially open on Thursday, May 4, at the corner of Vance Street and Dale Earnhardt Boulevard. It will be open every Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and run through September.

New and old vendors will provide a large variety of local and fresh produce and other things like meats, eggs, baked goods, crafts, and even prepared meals. Customers are able to get a free reusable tote from a vendor after spending $10 or more, while supplies last.

New pop-up features are a part of the 2023 season, including Cabarrus County Library demonstrations and a Chick-fil-A mobile vendor.
