STATESVILLE, N.C. — A truck driver was parked in a Statesville Lowe’s parking lot when he told a security guard he heard voices in his trailer.
The guard contacted authorities and a K-9 searched the trailer behind Richard Dean Jr.’s truck.

Inside the trailer, there was heroin, meth and drug paraphernalia, police said.
Dean, who is not a Lowe’s employee, was arrested on drug charges.
