CHARLOTTE — An Italian company has picked Charlotte as the home of its U.S. headquarters.
Alpitronic Americas LLC, the U.S. arm of Alpitronic SRL, will invest nearly $18.4 million and create 300 jobs here for its U.S. headquarters project. Alpitronic plans to operate an approximately 70,000-square-foot facility at 5815 Westpark Drive in Charlotte.
The company manufactures charging stations for electric vehicles. It intends to house office operations and a test and repair center for electric vehicle-charging stations at its U.S. location.
The new jobs will be created between 2024 and 2027, and include average annual wages of $90,158.
