CHARLOTTE — Tiara Johnson is the first resident in the Small Beginnings community in north Charlotte.

“When there is hope, there is blessing,” Johnson told Channel 9 after moving into the affordable home.

The housing nonprofit, Home Again Foundation, cut the ribbon Tuesday after Johnson moved in.

“It just feels good,” Johnson said. “I’m warm. I’m safe.”
