Iredell County animal director, vet no longer with agency

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Two top Iredell County control officials are no longer with the service agency after an internal investigation.

Animal Service director Brad Gates resigned from his position, and shelter veterinarian Dr. Kim Ball was fired.

Gates and Ball were suspended last month because of personnel issues.
