YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A SLED investigator is on the stand in the murder trial of a York County woman accused of killing her boyfriend.
He has talked about the inconsistencies of Julia Phillips’ statements.
Phillips is accused of strangling prominent attorney Melvin Roberts in 2010.
Tuesday morning, a mutual friend testified about the rocky relationship the two had.
Phillips was seen laughing and joking at Roberts' funeral.
