CHARLOTTE — One person was killed in an overnight shooting in northwest Charlotte, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
CMPD says they were called to a domestic violence assault on Firestreak Drive just off Mount Holly-Huntersville Road.
There police found the victim with a gunshot wound.
MEDIC pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
Police have not released the identity of the victim.
