CHARLOTTE, N.C. — This 16-story tower will bring a food hall and additional restaurant concepts to South End.

Atlanta developer Portman Holdings is finalizing the details of plans for 2151 Hawkins, but expect 30,000 square feet to be dedicated to restaurant and retail concepts, says Travis Garland, director of leasing.
The remainder of that 315,000-square-foot tower will house office space. Demolition has begun, with construction slated to ramp up in the first quarter of 2020.
