Police said a 15-year-old girl said Gibson sexually assaulted her earlier this year at the school while she was a student at Independence.
Detectives said a second female was sexually assaulted in 2010 when she was a 17-year-old student.
Officers said Gibson voluntarily came to police headquarters Wednesday where he was interviewed and then arrested.
Detectives are working to determine if there are any additional victims.
Channel 9 learned early Thursday that Gibson had bonded out of jail.
Bond is expected to appear in court Monday.
