Increase in food prices reported across country as pandemic continues

Whether you have been going to the store or ordering your groceries online, you have likely seen that prices are going up.

Grocery stores like Walmart and Harris Teeter have been trying to keep up with the demand, but at the same time prices are rising.

The Labor Department reports that certain food items jumped more than others. Last month, we paid 4.3 percent more for meats, poultry and fish and the price of eggs, went up 16 percent.
