The iconic barn was built in the mid-1900s and has been the setting for weddings, graduations and celebrations for years in Cabarrus County. But in March 2020, it was intentionally set on fire. The building had to be torn down after the damage with a promise from the county that they would rebuild.

Saturday’s event is the first one celebrating the new barn, but it won’t be open for reservations until early August.
