Hundreds gather in uptown for ‘Day Without Immigrants'

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Following a rise in ICE arrests and tough words on immigration from Washington, hundreds of immigrants and their families marched through uptown Monday.

Streets were blocked and traffic was backed up but things stayed peaceful for the Day Without Immigrants.
