CHARLOTTE, NC — The Charlotte region’s Fortune 500 headquarters count remained steady at six in Fortune magazine’s listing of the largest U.S. public and private corporations for 2018.
There were no companies in South Carolina that made the Fortune 500 ranking.
Charlotte-based Bank of America Corp. remained in the top spot for North Carolina, moving up two spots to No. 24 with $100.3 billion in revenue in 2017.
Among local companies, Sealed Air Corp. was the biggest mover on the list, dropping 59 spots to No. 456.
