CHARLOTTE, N.C. — With the Veterans Day holiday on Monday, WalletHub is out with a list of "2019's Best and Worst Places for Veterans to Live."
And, perhaps not surprisingly given the massive military presence in North Carolina as well as the frequency of its largest metros landing atop various rankings on quality of life, job prospects and more, Charlotte earned relatively high marks.
The Queen City lands at No. 27 on the list of 100, trailing Raleigh at No. 4 and Durham at No. 24.
