CHARLOTTE — Crews were on the scene of a house fire in east Charlotte Wednesday morning.
Officials with the Charlotte Fire Department said they were called out to the scene on Enfield Road, near Eastway Drive, around 3:45 a.m.
Our Channel 9 photographer captured plumes of smoke coming out the back of the home.
It took 30 firefighters 20 minutes to contain the fire, officials said.
CFD confirmed the house was vacant and nearing the end of renovation, so thankfully, no one was hurt and no one was displaced by the fire.
Charlotte Fire said the estimated property and content loss was $50,000.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
