COLUMBIA, S.C. — A homeless man is being hailed as a hero after he tackled a suspect resisting a South Carolina police officer.
The incident was captured on cellphone video, which appears to show the Columbia police officer telling a suspect to get on the ground.
The suspect refused, and the video shows the officer use her stun gun on him twice, as well as pepper spray.
The video shows Cray Turmon, who was standing nearby, step in and tackle the suspect so the officer can get handcuffs on him.
