CHARLOTTE — The Hindu Center of Charlotte celebrated the Holi Festival of Colors Sunday with plenty of colors on display.
Holi is also known as the festival of love and spring.
It is a Hindu tradition to welcome the start of spring. It also recognizes the triumph of good over evil.
Participants usually celebrate by throwing colored powders at each other.
