CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officials who tested the drinking water at Myers Park High School found there were higher than acceptable levels of lead in three water fountains.
There were also high levels at fountains in the cafeteria, behind the auditorium and in the kitchen sink at the football field concession stand.

The sink and the water fountains are now out of service.
There were no issues at Olympic High School.
Those were the last two CMS schools in the second round of testing.

The first and second rounds of testing included schools built in 1989 or earlier.
