HICKORY, N.C. — A real life "cookie monster" has struck in Hickory after stealing more than 100 boxes of Girl Scout cookies.
Everything from Thin Mints to Caramel Delight cookies were taken from a woman's car earlier this week, officials said.
Police said 11 cases of cookies, worth $500, were stolen.
The local Girl Scouts Office said the victim has filed paperwork to have the cookies replaced.
No other information has been provided.
