CHARLOTTE — The Carolina Panthers have a new head coach, the team’s fifth in franchise history.

The Panthers got the hottest college coach in the country, who recently said he'd be staying at Baylor University.
The Panthers and owner David Tepper made a massive commitment to Matt Rhule.
ESPN reported the $60 million deal is for seven years.

"I think his players will soon discover that he's for real,” said Tom Coughlin, former New York Giants head coach. “He's the real deal."
