GASTONIA, N.C. — In Gaston County, students and teachers are back in the classroom learning under “Plan B” -- a mix of in-person and remote learning.
The first step of getting into the building requires a temperature check and a questionnaire, but it impacted district schools and backed up cars in the parking lots.
“I’m kinda bias because I have a mother who has COPD. I really don’t think this was a wise decision,” parent Rachael Harvey said. “Not simply just for the kids, but with the parents and grandparents as well.”
