CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Harris Teeter will close its store at Park Road Shopping Center in early 2020 for a major remodel.

Plans call for that 35,000-square-foot location at 4101 Park Road to close on or before Jan. 4, says Danna Robinson, communications manager.
The Matthews-based grocer — a subsidiary of The Kroger Co. — also plans to shutter a store in Mallard Creek. Robinson says that 45,000-square-foot location will close by Jan. 5. It is located at 2201 WT Harris Blvd.
