MATTHEWS, N.C. — Thursday marked the second night of Hanukkah, the Festival of Lights.
Each night for eight days, Jewish people around the world light candles on a menorah to celebrate.
Channel 9 crews captured Hanukkah festivities that took place at the Matthews Town Hall Thursday evening.
The Ballantyne Jewish Center also hosted a lighting on North Main Street in Waxhaw.
