WADESBORO, N.C. — Shaquille Dremichael Polk, 25, of Wadesboro was arrested for first-degree murder after he allegedly shot and killed Tywan Sturdivant, 43, on Oct. 5 on Old Charlotte Road in Wadesboro.
A dozen gunshots woke up neighbors that night that launched a homicide investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
