Guests relocated after bowling alley inside Myrtle Beach hotel caught fire

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — A resort in Myrtle Beach caught fire, startling hundreds of guests, according to reports from WPDE.

Investigators said the fire started in the bowling alley of the Captain’s Quarters Resort Wednesday morning.

Guest at the hotel told WPDE that they were evacuated from the building in the dark.

While no guests were injured, three firefighters were treated for dehydration.

The hotel told WPDE that they are figuring out another place for the guests to stay.

It is unclear what caused the fire.
