CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Punxsutawney Phil isn’t the only groundhog predicting a longer winter -- there’s also Queen Charlotte closer to home.
She lives at Discovery Place Nature Center.
Queen Charlotte had her own virtual weather prediction on Tuesday morning.
She had the choice between two dishes full of treats -- one of spring and one of winter.

She made a beeline for the winter bowl, signaling we are in for six more weeks of the season.
