Harris Teeter announced Wednesday that it has an Appreciation Hero Bonus, which gives all hourly workers in its retail, distribution center, dairy and corporate offices a $2 premium above what they’re normally paid. It applies to hours worked between April 1 and April 21.

CVS Pharmacy is following in the same footsteps. Those who work more than 10 hours a day during April will get bonuses. Employees who test positive for COVID-19 or must quarantine because of exposure get up to two weeks of continued pay.
