Grocer gives update on next stores opening in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Lidl expects to open two new stores in the upcoming months.

The German grocer says its Steele Creek store on South Tryon Street is on target to open this spring. A second store in West Mallard Church Creek Road will open this summer.

In addition, Lidl is moving forward with plans for a store on South Boulevard, in the area known as lower South End.
