Greco Fresh Grille to open NoDa restaurant as it targets more expansion

CHARLOTTE — Greco Fresh Grille has landed space in NoDa.

The fast-casual Greek restaurant has signed a deal for 1,500 square feet, with a 350-square-foot patio, at Inkwell. That multifamily project at 720 E. 36th St. has ground-floor retail space.

Greco Fresh Grill founder Vasili Pahountis says that location should open in early fall. Pahountis expects to invest roughly $300,000 into that space.

“NoDa reminds me right now of what South End looked like when it was really starting to take off,” he says. “There’s just so much going on.”

He’s considering other parts of Charlotte for growth, as well as franchising in the future.
