The Longleaf Commitment Grant is for high school seniors graduating in 2022 and enrolling in community college. Students can receive $700 to $2,800 per academic year for a total of two years.
The grant is also for other, nontraditional students interested in furthering their education.

“We’re also trying to get adults that are changing their careers and want to improve their lives,” Cooper said Thursday in the Leon Levine Health Sciences Center on CPCC’s central campus. “Often they struggle with trying to make ends met while also paying for college.”
To qualify for the funding, a person must enroll in at least six credits per semester.
