CHARLOTTE — On Saturday, many brides got their dream dress for a dream price.
Goodwill, just off Wilkinson Blvd in west Charlotte, hosted their fourth annual Bridal Pop-Up Sale with bridesmaids’ dresses and bridal gowns ranging from one to five hundred dollars. The event began at 9 a.m. and lasted throughout the day.
Channel 9 spoke with bride-to-be Shamira Harmon, who was one of the hundreds waiting in line but found her dream dress in only 45 minutes.
“I started with 10; I said no to all of those, so I grabbed 10 more,” Harmon said. “Now I’m on the last 2; I’ve narrowed it down to my last two.”
All the gowns that were in the sale were brand new or gently used.
