CHARLOTTE — The Good Wurst Co. closed in Plaza Midwood, which is the last of its three restaurants in Charlotte to shutter.
The location at 3001 Central Ave. closed on Jan. 20, despite a sign on the door saying it would reopen soon, our partners at the Charlotte Business Journal reported.
The popular eatery served up New York-style deli food.
The Plaza Midwood location opened in September 2020 followed by restaurants in South End and at Riverbend Village in northwest Charlotte.
The Riverbend Village eatery closed in June 2024. The one in South End closed in October 2024.
