Police searching for second suspect in connection with homicide in Gastonia

GASTONIA, N.C. — Gastonia Police said they are searching for a second suspect charged in connection with a homicide Thursday night on Brownstone Court.

Officials said Jaqualus Deontray Glover, 20, was shot around 7 p.m. He died at the scene.

Officers are looking for 22-year-old Hafees Yhanjuan Adams. He is facing murder charges, authorities said.

Justin Isaiah Bess, 20, was already booked into the Gaston County Jail early Friday and charged with first-degree murder, officials said. He was being held without bond and was scheduled to face a judge on Friday afternoon.

Police said Adams is known to drive a white 2009 Lexus IS 250 with a North Carolina tag number FHS-2898 and a blue Kia Sorento with a North Carolina tag number EFC-9456.
