GASTONIA, N.C. — A police chase in Gastonia ended Sunday afternoon with the suspect in handcuffs.
Gaston County Police say they found a stolen van being used in a series of break-ins earlier in the day. Officers tried to pull over the suspects, but could not get them to stop. Officer finally used Stop Sticks on U.S. 321 South to bring the chase to a halt.
Police have not named the suspect yet, but said that person surrendered shortly after running over the Stop Sticks.
