KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. — The Gaston County Police Department is looking for a man they say is wanted in connection with a reported kidnapping and domestic assault Wednesday.

Joel E. Stroupe, 47, is facing several criminal charges and authorities searched his home on Judy Court in Kings Mountain, police said.
Detectives collected evidence but did not find Stroupe. They are still searching for him.
