GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — A Gaston County park could re-open soon after being shut down because of safety concerns.
Dallas Park was shut down earlier this month because utility poles were old and possibly very dangerous.
An inspector determined that only one needs to be replaced.
They have not said how much that will cost.
Two years ago, the light poles had to be inspected because they were part of a nationwide recall.
There were concerns the poles could crack and fall, but inspectors found that they were all safe.
