GASTON COUNTY, N.C. — In an attempt to deal with the opioid crisis gripping the area, ministers and community leaders in Gaston County will attend an event on how to help addicts.

Channel 9's partners at the Gaston Gazette report that the Gaston Controlled Substances Coalition is sponsoring a workshop at 6:45 p.m. on Nov. 16 at the Tabernacle Baptist Church.
